History

I am unable to combined the four previous blogs into one, but this will blog will be replacing --

1. Beaver Creek -- https://beavercreekprograms.blogspot.com/

2. Serenity Acres -- https://serenityacresblog.blogspot.com/

3. DEL-A-LEC -- https://delalac.blogspot.com/

4, DAL-A-LEC -- https://dalalec.blogspot.com/

1. Beaver Creek --

Now combining all into one blog. Our program has merged and developed into - The DEL-A-LAC Way Curriculum and Beaver Creek Programs. Our DAL-A-LAC stories have become our Beaver Creek Materials; Serenity Acres is where we are located, main office which has a lake with a creek the beaver keep blocking up and we still have the north farm - the Beaver Creek Farm, located by Beaver Creek (where we got the name for our program). We are keeping this blog and will post things from time to time on this blog instead of trying to keep up with all four blogs, which there never was enough time for.

2. Serenity Acres --

from old blog -- My dream has been to set up a youth camp with a historical farm & nature center here where we live and more of the camp on our property north of here. This dream has grown through my wide range of experience / education and these will be included in the youth camp.

3. DEL-A-LAC --

from old blog -- DEL-A-LAC

During my many years of teaching (preschool - adults) I've written several volumes of curriculum. Some of this was for post grad classes, masters & post masters, and some was for classroom or learning center use. As a Special Education teacher, I often had to make my own materials. Now that I've retired from every day teaching, I'm going through and organizing the materials from many notebooks / binders, and files in file cabinets, along with material on CD's. I'm setting this blog up to share this material as I get it organized. Nellie

4. DAL-A-LEC

from old blog -- Dezinski's Activity Lab and Learning Educational Center -- Stories to use with students.

During my years of teaching, I often wrote sample poems, stories, etc. to use with my lesson plans. Now that I've retired from the everyday teaching, I'm going through these writing and will post some on here for other teachers to use. It is taking some time, going through files after files; I didn't realize that I had wrote so much. I am also organizing these into different grade levels and will add to them. As a Special Education teacher, I taught from preschool through adult over the years. Nellie
